Further to the recent press coverage concerning the last match of the season at Accrington Stanley on Saturday, the club would like to issue the following statement.

It is probable that the FA will launch their own investigation into the reported 'unusual betting activity' that took place before the game against Accrington Stanley on Saturday 03 May 2008.

If this is the case, then Bury Football Club will fully co-operate with any investigation.

The club will not make any further comments until any investigation is concluded.
